- Electrical Installations and Repairs: Full lifetime coverage on all electrical services provided by Prestige Electric.
- Workmanship Errors: If a failure occurs due to how the work was performed, we will fix it—guaranteed.
- No Hidden Charges: We do not charge for return visits or repair of faulty workmanship. Labor and parts are covered.
What the Guarantee Does Not Cover:
- Damage caused by natural disasters, misuse, or unauthorized alterations.
- Failures due to wear and tear or manufacturer defects in materials not supplied by Prestige Electric.
- Any electrical system modified by others after our service.

One-Year Warranty on Materials Supplied by Prestige Electric
In addition to our workmanship guarantee, we offer a one-year warranty on all materials we supply for your project.
What the Warranty Covers:
- Defective Materials: Coverage for wires, outlets, breakers, panels, and more—if we supplied it and it fails due to manufacturer defects, we replace it.
- No Charge for Replacement: Labor and material costs for qualifying defects are fully covered within the one-year window.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Damage from misuse, improper installation by others, or normal aging/wear.
- Acts of nature or power surges beyond our control.
- Materials not supplied by Prestige Electric. These fall under the original manufacturer’s warranty and are not covered by us.
Important Note About Our Services and Rates
While electrical work is our specialty, Prestige Electric is equipped to handle prep work, framing, general labor, and related services upon request.
Please note:
- Our hourly rate is fixed and does not change—no matter what type of work is being performed.
- Whether we’re running conduit or helping prep a wall, the rate remains the same.
- You are always free to hire another contractor for any portion of the work. We believe in transparency and flexibility.
Required Pricing Options to Receive Warranty Coverage (Virginia Law Compliance)
To comply with Virginia contractor licensing requirements, we must offer a minimum one-year warranty on all materials and labor we provide.
To ensure full coverage and support, Prestige Electric offers two options:
Option 1: 30% Material Markup
- Covers replacement costs, coordination, and warranty handling
- Guarantees full support for materials and warranty
- Best for projects with lower total material cost
Option 2: 10% Total Job Markup
- Applies one flat markup to the full invoice
- Great for larger projects where material costs are already high
- Also covers both labor and material warranty obligations
Important:
If you supply your own materials or decline both markup options, we are legally unable to provide a warranty for those materials or related labor.
